To Salvage a Ship
Dick Gordon speaks with a ship salvage master in Alaska. Dan Magone has sent his crews to ships that have run aground and listed. He describes using climbing rope to board the ships. At other times, he is in scuba gear diving under a ship.

To Sink a Ship
Dick talks with a former officer of a cruise ship, Jay Herrin, who has been on board when a ship has run aground, as well as sailed through a hurricane. He has a book called The Truth About Cruise Ships.
To See the Moss
Rachel Sussman tells Dick about her quest to photograph the oldest living organisms. She has traveled to Greenland, Japan, and she is getting ready to go to Antarctica to focus her lens on things that we might just walk right by or not even see, things like moss, bacteria and lichen. Pictured on the left is "Welwitschia Mirabilis #0707-22411 (2,000 years old; Namib Naukluft Desert, Namibia)" and on the right is "Posidonia Oceania Sea Grass #0910-P1000753 (100,000 years old; Balearic Islands, Spain)".
