Danny Mora

Dick Gordon spoke with Danny Mora on November 24, 2008. Danny told how he transitioned from an East Oakland gang member to a thriving U.C. Berkeley college student. A variety of photos of Danny’s life from before and while he was a gang member appear below. The final photo shows a mural made to honor a young man he mentored, named Salvador, who was killed on the streets of Oakland.
