Susan's Clothesline
Susan Taylor ran into neighborhood opposition when she put up a clothesline in her yard. Her idea was that drying her clothes outside was a simple way to reduce her energy use. But clotheslines aren't allowed under neighborhood rules. Susan has taken to hanging an American flag with her clothes in a show of defiance.
