Leadership Under Pressure

Like Barack Obama,  Xavier Bishop is a politician who ran for office as an outsider. Originally from Chicago, Xavier wanted to become mayor of Moss Point, Miss. Xavier won the election, but then he was tested mightily: On his first day in office, a hurricane hit. In fact, three hurricanes, including Katrina, hit Moss Point in his first 45 days in office. Xavier Bishop had to find out whether he could lead in crisis, and whether he could ever become one of the insiders.
