The Religion Beat

Soon after William Lobdell became a Christian, he got what seemed like his dream job: he became the religion writer for the Los Angeles Times. Then he found himself reporting on stories of religious hypocrisy and betrayal at the height of the clergy abuse scandal. Bill found himself shaken, increasingly skeptical of both the church and its teachings. As he tells Dick, he began to question his own faith, and ultimately the existence of God.
