IGGY POP REDUX

When James Williamson took an early retirement offer from his job as a Vice President at Sony Electronics he went back to an earlier career that his bosses knew nothing about … and one James never expected to repeat. Back in the 1970s he was lead guitarist and songwriter for one of the most influential punk rock bands ever – Iggy and the Stooges. James has just returned from a world tour with the band and today is relishing the re-issue of an iconic album he and Iggy Pop recorded 35 years ago - Kill City.

AT HOME: UNLIKELY CONTRACTOR

Today – another chapter in our “At Home” series. Soon after Meadow Hunt got a new teaching job, she bought a house. She'd hoped to use her teaching money to repair the 1933 bungalow. Then came the recession. Meadow took a 23% pay cut, and suddenly she is doing the repairs herself, rather than hiring a crew.
