ON THE BORDER OF LIBYA
As the civil war continues in Libya, refugees are flooding into camps along the Tunisian border. At Camp Choucha, Tunisian therapist Rim Ben Ismail counsels refugees. Rim says that since she is from Tunisia, where the uprisings began, she feels responsible for helping the victims of Libya’s war. She has little to offer them but listening and she says this is difficult.
BACK FROM BENGHAZI
When Libyan American Hussein Elkhafaifi heard his mother was dying, he booked a flight and went to Benghazi. He was her firstborn son and it was his duty - to get to her, he arrived in the middle of the rebel takeover of that city. He says he believes his mother, even as she was dying, was dancing in her soul to see the fight against the government.
