Safe Haven Law

Ten years ago, Jodi Brooks was a television reporter in Alabama and became so frustrated with the number of abandoned baby cases she was seeing that she lobbied for the first "Safe Haven" law enacted in the United States. News of that law spread, and now every state has adopted their own version. Kevin and Tracy are parents who adopted a baby under the Illinois law. Their little girl, Molly, was abandoned at a police station.
