The View From Afghanistan

Hassina Sherjan is an Afghan-American woman who runs a fabric factory and an education non-profit in Kabul. Amid talk of stalled U.S. negotiations with the Taliban, she tells Dick the group shouldn’t be shaping her country’s future. She wants to continue seeing U.S. forces in her country, she says, but it’s time for Western advisors and consultants to step back - and allow Afghans to build their country.
