Workers in a tunnel of the Gorleben Salt Dome

The Salt Dome

Produced by

Producer Cori Princell tells Dick about a trip she made to Gorleben, Germany, to hear both sides of the nuclear waste disposal argument. Klaus Pohlandt lives off the grid to prove that Germany does not need to produce so much nuclear waste. She also talks with Peter Ward, a researcher exploring the safety of Gorleben's underground salt dome. Some feel this storage location is safe - others do not trust it. This is part of the documentary series BURN: An Energy Journal.
