Caffe Lena

We settle in at the oldest continuously operating folk music coffee house in Saratoga Springs, NY. Dick speaks to Jocelyn Arem, who is gathering and recording oral history of Caffe Lena with musicians from Ani DiFranco and Arlo Guthrie, and unearthing old recordings from musicians such as Don McLean, Jerry Jeff Walker and Pete Seeger. Lots of music in this, including a young Dylan. Read more about the Caffe Lena History Project here. And read more about the Magic Shop, which is digitizing music from the café, here.
