The Modern Midwife: Ina May Gaskin

In 1971, Ina May Gaskin founded "The Farm," a place where women can give birth without machines or drugs. She tells Phoebe Judge about giving birth to her children conventionally, and how that moved her to find another way. Then, Gaskin was on the fringe of popular culture. As midwifery grows more and more popular, The Farm has become a mecca for pregnant women.
