Gatsby, Every Last Word Of It

Produced by

The Great Gatsby is drawing people into movie theaters right now but it’s always been a book that attracted artists. Scott Shepherd and his fellow actors wanted to adapt The Great Gatsby for the stage. But when they attempted to trim Fitzgerald's language, they found every sentence too perfect to be cut. So they performed the entire novel, word-for-word for eight hours.

Music

"Do the Strand" and "Don't Stop the Dance" from Bryan Ferry and his album Jazz Age.
