Learning To Listen

Produced by

Dr. T. Berry Brazelton is one of the country’s most respected pediatricians. He’s written books and operates The Brazelton Institute with Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Now, at age 95, he has a memoir, “Learning to Listen”. Dr. Brazelton talks with producer Phoebe Judge about the importance of paying close attention to babies, something he calls “learning to listen.” It’s a lesson he learned at age eight, when he was regularly asked to care for nine younger cousins while his family ate Sunday lunch.
