Wally Boot is the Steinway piano company’s longest serving employee. He started working at the factory when he was 18, and is still there more than 50 years later. Wally’s hands are the last to touch the pianos before they’re shipped to the grandest concert halls in the world. Even though he spends his days surrounded by pianos, he only learned to play a few years ago. He tells host Dick Gordon why the work is so meaningful to him.
