In Search Of Jerome David Salinger

Jim Sadwith had written the script for his high school play based on J.D. Salinger’s classic “The Catcher and the Rye,” when someone asked him, “Do you have Salinger’s permission?” Sadwith, who grew up to direct Hollywood films and TV shows, tells host Dick Gordon that he decided to look for Salinger and explains the clues he followed to look for him. The original version of this story aired July 9, 2009.
