Risky Beauty Business [10.06.09]

A group of advocates are concerned the chemicals used in manicures, and especially acrylic nails, are affecting the health of nail salon workers. Connie Nguyen has been doing hair and nails for 15 years. She's experienced dizziness and difficulty breathing. Alisha Tran, a former salon owner, experienced nausea and was twice rushed to the emergency room before a doctor told her to quit the business. Also in the show: A positive insurance story.
