MIT professor and inventor Deb Roy set up cameras and microphones in his house to record the first years of his son’s life. He’s applying what he learned in political advertising. Also in this show: a designer on how he’s making graphics to illustrate his daily life; and a pathology professor on how scientists cut corners in academic papers.
